Jay looked over at him and squeezed his hand reassuringly. She noticed him glancing over at her, which made her feel even happier. “I know, I… I’m not even going to tell you” she said avoiding the subject of her death entirely. “Can I have a piggy back?” she asked him randomly. She was back to her old random ways, and she then hopped on his back.

Brady smiled and let out a small laugh. “It would be of my greatest pleasure.” He said sweetly as she hopped on his back. He walked around spinning in the street. He laughed, as he did this making Jay laugh. “So Jay, what do you wanna do next?” He asked, Brady was enjoying the moment as is. 

As Brady spun her around in the street Jay let out a long laugh and held him tightly, not wanting to fall off. “Mwahh!” she exclaimed as she kissed his cheek simply. Jay shrugged and asked “Do you want to know what happened? Cause I mean.. You kind of deserve to know, right?”. She didn’t want to tell him, but at the same time she did.

Jay smiled as she hugged him, when he wasn’t looking. She looked up at him and pulled back slightly, and stared into his dark eyes that she knew only so well. “I missed you more, Superman” she told him. She loved that she could even say those words. Superman, always there to save the day, yet again. Jay looked at Brady and held his arms slightly as he held her waist as they just examined each other. It’d been a long time and they both looked different then they used to. “How’ve you been?” she asked him.

Brady smiled as they looked into each others eyes. “I’ve-I’ve been lonely, without you Jay.” He said as he took Jay’s hand and began to slowly stroll the street, the deserted street. As they slowly walked Brady often turned to view the face he had missed ever so much. “How about you? How have you been?” He asked, missing her short little explanations about her life.

Jay walked down the road. She was going to meet Brady at the street corner, like usual. She wore her combat boots, a leather jacket and put new ends on her eyebrow piercing. She wondered if he’d even recognize her after so long. She reached the end of Young and Dundas and saw him, as handsome as ever, staring right back at her. She felt so great at that exact second their eyes met. It was like, like she fell in love with him all over again. She let her mind drift off in to a perfect place and enjoyed the moment. She stopped walking about a foot away from him and just looked at him. Silence was crowding the air and growing every second, they didn’t speak, didn’t even breathe. It felt like they haven’t seen eachother in so long. It had only been a few months. But, he looked so much better to her, he looked happy. She’d forgotten what that even felt like, happiness. Right now, she was confused. What was this? Where was she? She acted as if it where reality and quickly stepped over and hugged him gently and lovingly. She missed what it felt like to be in his arms, she’d nearly forgotten. His arms wrapped around her and she felt at home, like she was safe. She’d missed him, a lot.

As Brady spent his days walking around the crowded streets of Toronto, today was an unusual day. It was a day filled with joy, because today he finally got to see his girl, Jay. As he noticed her from a distance, Brady gave her a soft warm gaze calling her over. He smiled as she did so, they exchanged a glance and before Brady knew it Jay had her arms wrapped around him. He couldn’t help but return the favor, and softly kiss her warm head. “I missed you too.” He said with a soft laugh, he did miss her and was glad she was with him, glad she was happy. Brady then leaned back and looked her softly in the eye, he just looked at Jay, then continued to embrace her.
